Whilst many of the benefits relate to those in the sporting world, regular sports massage can help reduce every-day tension and increases flexibility and mobility.

Long hours of sitting in a stationary position and posture is known to cause issues within the neck, shoulder and back muscles. All areas which can be targeted with sports massage.

For a sports massage, it is recommended to wear loose and comfortable clothing such as shorts, leggings or joggers.
I tend to work directly on the skin, so you can expect to be asked to remove certain items of clothing on the day (e.g. such as t-shirt for back massage). The more access I have to the target body area, the more effective the treatment can be.
Please note, if you wear undergarments such as a bra, some people find a normal bra easier as straps can be moved for back and shoulder. Additionally, a clasped bra may also be easier for some as this can be undone for treatment without removing the entire garment completely.
You’ll always stay properly covered with a towel and adjustments can be discussed and made with you beforehand to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible.
